About the Book:

Wong Toon Quee received his M.A. in Mathematics and M. Sc. in Statistics, both from the University of Illinois and Ph.D. in Business Administration from California Kennedy-Western University.
He was a lecturer at the former Nanyang University before he joined the Government Service and worked in various Ministries holding key posts including the last as Chief Executive Statistician at the National Statistical Commission. Since 1975, he has been working as a market research practitioner, first as a Market Research Manager with Singapore Airlines and later as Director in Survey Research Singapore Pte Ltd. Currently, Wong Toon Quee is the Assistant General Manager (Research and Information) of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd.
He was re-elected as the President of Singapore Institute of Statistics in 1992
