Fortune Turners: The Quartet that spun India to glory

‘Fortune Turners’ takes one back to an era when Indian spinners ruled over the best batsmen in the cricketing world. Every state team had a spinner who was knocking on the doors of the Indian test team. It took the genius of Bishan Singh Bedi, Erapalli Prasanna, Bhagwath Chandrasekhar and Srinivas Venkataraghavan to keep the rest out of the Indian team. These four were referred as the ‘Spin Quartet’and together they spun India to many victories in the 1960s and 1970s.
